It is not surprising because the world has become fast-paced and maintaining that living standard often drains us. A cluttered mind is restless and it lacks focus. It gets pulled in many different directions at once and the result is that very little gets actually done. Mental clutter can include: worrying about the future; contemplating too much about the past; keeping a never-ending mental to-do list; complaints; and so on.
